• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm ShimaHosting or any third party. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

• Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code

We strive to maintain a 99.9% uptime guarantee for our hosting services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Scheduled maintenance may cause temporary downtime with prior notice where possible.

Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, internet service provider failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control, may affect service availability.

While we implement backup procedures, you are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. ShimaHosting is not liable for data loss or corruption.

• Regular backups are performed but not guaranteed
• Customers should maintain their own backup copies
• We are not responsible for data recovery costs
• Data may be retained for a limited period after account termination

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on the ShimaHosting website and services are owned by ShimaHosting or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our intellectual property without explicit written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShimaHosting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to services at our sole discretion, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the services will immediately cease.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
